spiffyone asked:

Most fast food companies in the US get their meat from cattle ranches in South America which use land that was once rainforest. More and more rainforest is being destroyed to make room for these ranches.

There are things i can order like fries and stuff, but is it safe. Do they deep fry the fries in the same oil as they may fry chicken? and things of that sort.

Another question that I ponder over. I have noticed birds eating french fries which were left on the ground. Pigeons eating chicken from a garbage bin at a fast food joint. If fast food is bad for humans, how bad is it for animals?

What fast-food burgers are best when eaten as leftovers?

mr.babycakez2u asked:

What fast-food do you think keeps best as leftovers? Fries never keep you just gotta throw them away. But what about cheeseburgers? Burger king burgers taste really weird if they are more than a few hours old. Wendy’s on the other hand tastes about the same even after microwaving. I don’t know about other places yet. What do you think is best?

Is it really cheaper to eat fast food than to cook for yourself?

yukidomari asked:

I’m going to set my question in the context of a group of 4. I have not been to a fast food place in over 10 years, and I am still a college student. Therefore my income isn’t very high, but I still manage to spend maybe $60 a month on vegetables, cereals, milk, etc etc. I love to cook, so I always buy raw ingredients, and it doesn’t bother me that I have to prepare it.

People always say that part of America’s obesity problem is because fast food is so available and so cheap. IS eating at a fast food place, not even daily, but let’s say 2 or 3 times a week, really cheaper than going to a grocery store? Please think before you answer. Don’t just consider the fact that it’s about $5 to get a burger or whatever, and at a supermarket, that’s about 2lbs of tomatoes. Please consider that when you’re shopping at a supermarket, you’re purchasing ingredients that make more than just the singular serving one might be purchasing from a fast food place.
Originally I had thought it was around $60, but I took a look at my receipts for a more accurate count and it ranges from about $120-$190 per month.

Why do I get food poisoning from fast food places?

rommanticalgeek asked:

I eat a lot at fast food places and I’ve noticed that I get frequent food poisonings lately. In about 50% cases of eating there I get a diarreah the next day. In about 5% I throw up, have temperature and cannot eat anything for a few days - stomach flue? And it is the same for fast food and upscale restaurants. The only places I dont get a food poisoning is in my company’s cafeteria (that has mostly fast food) and the best restaurants in Seattle, where I live?
